InvisalignŽ "Invisible Braces"
For many patients, the Invisalign SystemŽ lets you smile your way through the entire treatment process! It was one of the first "invisible" orthodontic technologies, and Dr. Kadar was personally trained to use it by his predecessor, Dr. Jack Donley, who began using the technique in the 1980s.
Invisalign uses a series of clear, custom molded plastic aligners to gently and gradually move your teeth into the correct position. It's especially good for overcrowded or widely spaced teeth. The treatment can last over one year; however, the aligners are removable, so you can take them out for a special event or a special gooey snack.
Because it was one of the first "invisible brace" systems and because it's been a featured in the national media, Invisalign is one of our most popular and asked-for treatments. Orthocad
As you probably know, Dr Kadar utilizes technology to deliver personalized orthodontic treatment. From our digital x-rays to our electronic charting, advanced technology enables our team to work efficiently and effectively to keep your visits and treatment on time. The latest addition to our "techy friendly" office is the use of digital teeth models.
The OrthoCAD state-of-the art process provides highly accurate digital models. With OrthoCAD digital models, Dr. Kadar and our team can easily store, retrieve, diagnose and communicate cases electronically, saving all the hassles associated with plaster cases.
In addition, these digital models can be used with OrthoCAD's precise bracket placement service, designed to achieve superior orthodontic results in fewer appointments. The digital model combined with computer technology allows Dr. Kadar to create a customized "braces tray" that is easily applied to teeth in minutes. Dr. Kadar utilizes this Indirect Bonding method for patients with all adult dentition (teeth) who cannot tolerate a more lengthy direct bonding method. Oh, in case you are wondering, Dr. Kadar still uses the Damon SystemTM in conjunction with OrthoCAD. So, you are truly getting the most advanced, comfortable and quickest treatment possible!
The future with OrthoCAD is full of smiles! In the next few years, with OrthoCAD's help, we plan to eliminate the need for teeth impressions (biting into the gooey stuff) by using a digital probe to create a virtual model of teeth.
